This is a rough draft of a monster I made up called a Necromore. When someone suffers a death after the loss of someone close to them, their spirit becomes unsettled. Their souls search for a new host - in this case, the Necromore is made when the spirit finds a dead animal carcass. It becomes a half-animal, half-humanoid fiend.

The thing about the Necromore that makes them scary (in my opinion) is that they walk aimlessly around with a keepsake of the one who died before them. They then steal the memories of other people and put it into the keepsake to keep it “alive”. The longer it’s last harvest, the more aggressive a Necromore can be. It’s uncommon for one to attack, but not unheard of.
